Progress saves automatically on your device. Every studio upgrade, film project, balance change, and setting is stored locally. No account or cloud sync is required to play.

Each project moves through phases: idea, development, preparation, casting, crew hiring, set building, filming, editing, marketing, premiere, reviews, and box office. Hire talent from the market, buy scripts, and manage budgets at every step.

Build pavilions on your studio lot to increase concurrent project slots. Grow your reputation to advance from a small pavilion to a national company and beyond. Regional studios and research unlock at higher tiers.

Each year a trending genre receives an audience demand multiplier shown on your dashboard. Films matching the trend perform better at the box office. Check the trend before greenlighting a new project for maximum returns.

Open the More tab and tap Reset Game. This permanently deletes all progress, films, pavilions, and research. The action cannot be undone.

These permissions support optional features: capturing behind-the-scenes photos, recording production notes, and attaching reference images to scripts and marketing. Core gameplay works fully without granting any permissions.

Make sure your device runs iOS 16 or later. Force-close the app and reopen it. If the problem continues, restart your device or reinstall the app. Reinstalling removes local save data unless you have an iCloud backup of the device.

PlinCinema is built local-first. Your studio empire lives on your device — not on our servers.

Overview

PlinCinema is a single-player film studio simulation. We do not operate servers that collect your personal gameplay data. All progress, settings, and preferences remain on your device.

Data We Store Locally

  • Studio state — balance, reputation, tier, pavilions, decorations
  • Film projects — phases, budgets, cast, crew, box office results
  • Market inventory, research unlocks, events, and festival submissions
  • Onboarding completion and in-app preferences

Saved via iOS local storage on your device. Never transmitted to external servers by the app.

Device Permissions

The app may request the following permissions for optional in-game features:

Camera
Microphone
Photo Library
  • Camera — capture behind-the-scenes photos for film projects and studio marketing
  • Microphone — record audio notes and voice memos during production planning
  • Photo Library — attach reference images to scripts and marketing campaigns

All permissions are optional. Denying access does not affect core gameplay.

Third-Party Services

PlinCinema does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social login providers. The app contains no in-app purchases and does not require an account.

Children's Privacy

The app is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data remains on the user's device.

Your Rights & Data Control

  • Delete all game data anytime via More → Reset Game
  • Revoke camera, microphone, or photo access in iOS Settings
  • Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. The updated date is shown in the footer. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
